What is a Notary Public?

A Notary is a person of proven integrity appointed by the state to serve the public as an impartial witness. A notary is considered a public official and must follow specific rules and regulations set up by the state.

What do I need to provide for a Notary Service?

You must present proper identification prior to any notary act which includes;

1. Current State DL with photo and signature
2. Current State ID with photo and signature
3. Federal Government ID with photo and signature
4. In lieu of proper identification, signor must be personally known by notary
5. If a witness(s) is / are needed - you must supply them at time of notary act
6. Signor MUST appear before notary at TIME of notary act
