What is a Notary Public?

A Notary is a person of proven integrity appointed by the state to serve the public as an impartial witness. A notary is considered a public official and must follow specific rules and regulations set up by the state.

What do I need to provide for a Notary Service?

You must present proper identification prior to any notary act which includes;

1. Current State DL with photo and signature
2. Current State ID with photo and signature
3. Federal Government ID with photo and signature
4. In lieu of proper identification, signor must be personally known by notary
5. If a witness(s) is / are needed - you must supply them at time of notary act
6. Signor MUST appear before notary at TIME of notary act

Fees:

Taking acknowledgments or proofs
for the first signature $6.00
for each additional signature $1.00
Administering oath or affirmation $6.00
Swearing a witness for a deposition $6.00
Taking a deposition of a witness (for each 100 words) $ .50
Certifying a photocopy $6.00
Providing an uncertified copy of an entry from a notary’s record book (per page) $ .50

Fingerprinting $25 per person / 2 cards

Passport Photos $10.00

Fax: $1.00/page Incoming/Outbound

Mobile Fee: 10am-5pm $30.00 - 6pm-9pm $40.00- 10pm-9am $55.00

There is a flat fee of $25.00 for meeting us at our office afterhours $25.00
